The Ramen was so delicious ????. It was raining that day and it just hit the spot. Definitely going back again.

Food was ok, had a quick bite and couple of beers and sake with my wife, area is dodgy as, but it's understandable.

Get the vegan ramen. Spicy or white. Both phenomenal.

Remember the ambiance being more inviting and the food being better, still one of the best ramen in LA though.

There was a line so the wait was about 30 minutes on a Monday afternoon. I had seen the reviews on this place was decent so I had some expectations.

I ordered the gyoza for appetizer and the Daikoku Ramen. Gyoza wasn't completely steamed before it was pan fried because all of them had a starchy flour taste in the white areas. The ramen was not bad: the broth had a nice porky flavor. The chashu was different but not quite tender.

I don't think the wait was worth it.

3/20 dinner time. Taste was changed than before. It was not delicious at all. The person who recommended and brought me here was so disappointed. I think you guys should change the chef. After eating here, we went home and continued to have diarrhea. For real. We both got a food poisoning and went to the hospital. So mad. We were sick for a week

Been here a couple of times but I feel like quality is not the same anymore. Some parts of my noodles were stuck together and it's like a clump of flour. It was my to go ramen place before but I think I have tried better now.

Only thing I'm bummed about now vs 15+ years ago, is back then it was a 10 minute wait... Now it can be over an hour. But glad the service and taste is still the same quality.

They billed my card double what the food actually cost. Very very disappointed with this establishment

From March 2024:
Went here with my family for dinner. We ate in the to-go side instead of waiting for a seat in the more aesthetic dine-in side. I value eating sooner more than waiting outside in DTLA.
We had a mix of ramen and rice dishes and all of it was good enough to eat till you burst. Bigger portions so you can easily take home leftovers. The staff was nice and food was prepared rather fast.
A cozy place to take some friends for delicious, filling ramen.

Love going to this ramen joint. Open late in little Tokyo. Parking is sometimes a pain but there is a parking structure in the marketplace across the street.

Like going to Tokyo for lunch. Good food almost too much to finish.

Food and appetizers are always great not denying that, unfortunately every single time I order through uber eats and specify I would like napkins and utensils but I never get them. Unfortunate but I guess that's just me.

Have people not been to a good ramen restaurant? Cold pork. Legit cold. One of the most sub par ramen experiences I’ve ever had. Go walk around little Tokyo first. We learned the hard way going of these reviews…

Excellent ramen chez Daikokuya à LA. Parfaitement délicieuse…. Un régale pour les gourmands.
