This restaurant has an air of Lost in Translation with its neon and black colours. Katsuya offers a menu of excellent sushi, in new kitchen mode. Shrimp and grilled meats with fish specialities, always prepared with passion and inventiveness. This is the Posh Posh meeting.

We do love Katsuya and have been many times, but unfortunately there are always issues. When you make a reservation you shouldn't wait more than 10 minutes to be sat. When we come here, we always wait a while even with a reservation. Last time we specifically chose the dining room when making a reservation (the large space) and instead they sat us in the loud bar/lounge. We didn’t make a fuss, but this was extremely annoying because we wanted the better atmosphere.

The food is always yummy but our server this time was also rude and it really ruined the experience. I do want to note that the food quality is always very good!! This is the only thing that brings us back. I really wish the restaurant would care more about the experience as a whole because it comes out to about $100 a head.

For a cute night out, we still
like it, but we just have low expectations for how we are treated…. and to be honest there are soooo many better spots in the area, we don't go much anymore!

The sushi is delicious here. The fried rice with wagu beef is great.

The food was not great. The dinners were brought out piecemeal. The last dinner served came 14 minutes after mine.
