Cool spot, good food. Even saw a celebrity dining there!

Five stars based on the chicken entre. Wow. It was such a surprise how delicious it was, everyone else loved what they ordered too. I guess I came in without high expectations, for no particular reason really, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, the portions, and the flavors. Nothing was overdone or over seasoned, which seems to be a common problem in Italian restaurants. This was very nice????
The dining room was too warm for my liking, a bit uncomfortable, but the bar was cool, so an air distribution problem maybe.

The food was great. Not many options for a vegan though. Really enjoyed our dinner with friends

Food was reaaaaally good, but the service and ambience were amazing. I had the tagliatelle bolognese and really enjoyed it, but the bruschetta with burrata and tomatoes made my day ????✨????

Nice environment, food didn’t hit! Tagliatelle bolognese was too salty. The pizza was very thick and hearty, maybe it was an off night. Service was nice and it was about $70 a person. French fries were good.

This is has been our favorite restaurant, bar none. Phenominal pasta, delicious pizza, great burgers, salads to crave. The staff are prompt and nice. Dog friendly (outside) as well. We come here often!

The dinner experience this evening was amazing. The patio seating is designed in such a way to create a neighborly vibe. The items on the menu are exquisite. Nick has such a warm and welcoming energy. He took his time answering questions regarding several items on the menu. His poetic explanation for the dishes brought them to life. We enjoyed the market salad, meatballs and polenta for appetizers. The main dishes Jidori roasted chicken and Gnocchetti were delicious. The chef married the ingredients for these dishes to perfection. The staff is very friendly and down to earth. Very cool vibe.

Best eggplant parmesan. Super friendly staff. Incredibly warm, neighborhood vibe. Great wine list. Just go!

The short rib and polenta, burratta bruschetta, tiramisu, and beet salad were stand outs. Some things like the rotelli, chocolate cake, and crispy potatoes were quite salty, though. Service not super attentive but the atmosphere is great for date night if you're not in a hurry.

I’m usually not harsh about a food review but this was pretty bad . Me and my buddy decided to try this spot out since we live in the neighborhood and figured might be something new or interesting . We had several appetizers and both got the bolognese .the appetizers were packed with salt and flavor was lacking . The bolognese was so unimaginative and I wouldn’t have minded , if it was more traditional in nature but it wasn’t & was just so bland. My buddy works as a chef in Malibu and said “ I think that bolognese sauce came from a can” . Also , While I was disputing a charge for an item they never brought out another waiter took the plate out from under me , there was tons of food left on it and I would’ve at least given it to my dogs considering it was like 27$ . They were In such a rush to get people in & out . For a 100$ bill and we ordered no alcohol really a ridiculous place . Excited to never go back .

This restaurant surprised me... The food is extremely good! Don't let the neighborhood vibe throw you off. They care!! Started with a fabulous deep ruby colored Lambrusco 'Tradizione Zanasi' at $52--incredibly reasonable. The Fried Calamari is highly recommended as it's one of the best I have had!! Fried with spicy red peppers and Italian parsley served with a fabulous homemade Tartar. Next a Gem lettuce Market Salad tossed with a light lemon dressing was perfect! The bread, although $12, was worth it--a quarter loaf of Sourdough Rye with butter. The Minestrone Soup was rich and full of flavor topped with Parmesan cheese. Finally the Entrees were well prepared--a respectable cheeseburger with a fabulous 'special sauce', caramelized onions and amazing parsley fries!! Also a homemade Gnocchetti with fresh mushrooms and finished with Breadcrumps and thyme. Service was a bit slow toward the end of the meal but the bartender jumped in and took over which was appreciated. The ambience inside is "foody" style smaller wooden tables with small candles. I think that table cloths are well deserved here and would be welcomed! There a few tables in the main room where the bar sits and then about a dozen tables in the nest two rooms. There is also a more casual outdoor area that is basically candle-lit wooden picnic tables. But dont worry--they care a lot more about the food than anything else and it shows from start to finish! Will return soon!!

Food was good! They forgot a dish so we had to wave them down towards the latter half of our meal but they were able to get the dish for us once asked. It’s a bit hard to get their attention though so we were trying a bit to get water, etc. It’s a big place though- a lot bigger than it seemed outside. I’ll definitely be back to try the other dishes.

Amazing food! It's hard to find a place where every dish you order is really well done. Every single dish I've ordered here has been really really good. So happy we discovered this local gem.

Wow, what a delicious meal! I've driven past this place so many times over the years and never stopped by. Really glad I did! Some of the best Italian food I've had in the city. Service was great, friendly vibe. Atmosphere is cozy and warm.

The food was interesting, unique and ultimately sublime.
The service was friendly, informative and helpful.
The ambiance was bland, uninteresting and unfortunately boring.
All in all very much worthwhile, despite the bland interior.

Perfect for any occasion! We here last night for dinner with a few friends. We shared an appetizer and got one entree each which was enough but I wanted to try more on the menu!

The restaurant is surprisingly big and has a large outdoor section that would be great for a bigger group.

I had the Gnocchetti (shells) with Mushrooms and Bruschetta and both I would get again!

Our waiter was friendly and gave great recommendations!

Great service, nice and cozy autmosphere. Good wine selection. They bake their own bread, and make pizza dough and pasta which is great !!!
The food was decent, but they are a bit pricy.

Lovely, cozy Italian place. Great minestrone soup and their kale sausage pasta is highly recommended! The octopus had very strong grill and seafood flavors so that's for the hardcore seafood lovers :)
