I don’t understand how it is that there are so many bad reviews and the hotel doesn’t do anything? they just write nice messages that they are sorry for the unjustified expectations about the hotel.. people, please save your money and don’t check in here. this hotel does not in any way eliminate the comments that everyone writes... I will NEVER check in here, and I will tell my friends to avoid this hotel!!! either let them lower the price or change the staff who are slow to resolve issues!

The aesthetic is there for sure! Beautiful restaurant with an amazing view! The food is pretty good too. You can’t go wrong with lunch or dinner. Family or date friendly

Casa Madera is now my new favorite brunch spot in LA. The atmosphere is phenomenal and the views from the rooftop are spectacular. The DJ/music is a great touch. I ordered the omelette and the waffle and it was the perfect mix of savory and sweet. Wine list is great. I will definitely be coming back!

Overall the hotels is really nice, but the rooms weren't sound proof, we got a lot of noise from our neighbors.

I started off my LA trip coming here for dinner, and it was absolutely amazing! The vibe of the entire place was perfect. You literally feel as though you are by the seaside with the decor they have here. Great for a date or with a group! The food made it even a more perfect night. Although pricey, the food was all worth it! Their Mayan Hummus was a great start! I had their Chicken Paillard after, which was delicious! Also felt keto-friendly, haha. Very friendly service, and they stay on top of clearing your table when you're done and provided new utensils! Highly recommend!

1 Hotel is a unique LA experience. The staff was on point. The food on site was tasty. The rooftop bar is wonderful. The cocktails in the bar were creative and delicious. The whole vibe is very comforting and inviting. And depending on your needs in LA the location is perfect!

When you first walk in everything is very aesthetically pleasing. We made a reservation and sat almost immediately. The service did take a little longer than usual but it wasn’t to the point where I was irritated. It also gave me more time to talk to my date and enjoy spending time with him without food in my mouth. The food was great. We got the A5 wagyu starter and the hummus. And then the branzino. We wanted oysters but I guess they ran out. Great experience by far. IG worthy pictures. Would come here again.

We were dining at Casa Madera yesterday night (Tuesday evening). First of all, we came in and the hostess told us to wait for our table even though half of the restaurant was empty. Immediately after, a couple walked in and they sat them down immediately. We were patiently waiting while hostesses were chatting and giggling but after 15 min we came to them to ask what’s the status of our table and only then they sat us down.

The table they took us was in the back room right by the kitchen. We asked to change it and they told us that all tables are reserved and it will be 40min wait. When I pointed at other empty tables, only then they agreed to check on it.

While they were checking on the table, we decided to get a drink at the bar. There WASN’T anyone else besides us at that bar. Bartender took our order and hostess showed up saying that our table is ready. Bartender saw it but decided not to rush and instead of making us a drink, he was clearing glasses/chatting with another bartender/looking at some papers/counting cash at the register- anything but making us a drink. He started making it only when our patience was gone and we kindly asked him to make us a drink since our table was ready.

The only positive in this whole experience was our server (I believe his name was Michael). He was beyond amazing and he’s the only reason im giving it 2 stars and not 1.

Pretty antisemitic GM there. Horrible service and the food tasted like it was old. I got sick for a few days.

Overpriced food that is not very good. I’m all for paying more for a meal that is worth it, but this is definitely not one of those places.

I went to Casa Madera restaurant last night as I was waiting to go to the Mondrian for a Purim party, some girl walked over to me and handed me and an Israeli flag. I held it beside me and a few min later the waiter approached me and informed me I'm unable to hold a flag at the restaurant and if I do I need to leave. I then asked to speak with the manager which Tim GM walked over to me and said "I was the one who instructed him to give you the message".

I obviously left and will NEVER return back to this establishment. I feel this restaurant is antisemitic and I would refrain from dining here! Shame on you

treats their employees horrendously

Very hip spot, live DJ, half the crowd sitting for their meal are taking pictures for social media. Drinks are great, Fattoush salad was worth it, and the prime top rib was pretty damn tasty. I can’t seem to wrap my head around these prices. I can get just as tasty experience for less. Guess you’re paying for the view as well.

It's what you would expect from a high end luxury Italian dining establishment. Service is on point. Food is on point. Atmosphere is on point.

Ate here with my family, as we stayed at Mondrian. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the mayan hummus, the fattoush salad (possibly the best salad I’ve ever had), a selection of tacos and the chicken paillard. Even the teen and tween were raving about the food. Our server was wonderful, though I cannot remember her name, and there was live music by Miles, who was amazing!
10/10 would recommend.

This is the second time I stay at this hotel. Location is great and if you can afford the most expensive rooms, the view and rooms themselves are pleasant and comfortable. Ive had friends staying at the more basic rooms who did not enjoy their stay (tiny windows and noisy). The spa is very nice so are the overall wellness facilities. The big turnoff for me this time has been the rudeness of the restaurant staff, from waiters who plainly ignore you when you ask for the check to restaurant reception staff who have no clue how to charge a check to a room and have an attitude. I decided I no longer was going to use the hotel restaurant instead found fantastic breakfast, brunch and dinner options a 5’ walking distance. The other issue I encountered is the person checking the minibar in my room saying I had consumed 2 bottles of drinks that I never did!!! They were going to charge mini bar items to my bill that I did not consume. I wonder if they do this on purpose or it was an oversight from something consumed by previous guests. Finally the information the hotel provides to visitors in terms of do you need a car? Is inaccurate. Their q&a says you dont need a car and that a taxi or Uber to Venice beach costs $19-25 depending on traffic - that is a joke. The cost is actually $50 (yes, fifty USD) each way with nornal traffic so you are better renting a car for as little as $65-70 per day and that will save you hundreds of dollars. Uber charges a fee due to California insurance which is equal to a full ride fare - making each trip outrageously expensive. Avoid. The hotel should provide accurate information to guests, instead they are misleading people.

The owner is the best things in the universe! I felt in Italy! Lovely people, excellent food! A real Italian place in LA.
