Poultry, poultry, and... poultry. That's what Howlin' Ray's offers. After tasting "hot chicken" - fried chicken - the specialty of Nashville, Tennessee, chef Johnny Ray Zone had a brainwave: even though he had worked alongside such greats as Thomas Keller, Gordon Ramsay and Nobu Matsuhisa, it was this dish that he wanted to cook and adapt in all its forms. A wish that he first fulfilled through a food-truck, before settling in Chinatown in 2015. An excellent address, not to be missed!

The Best Hot Chicken in SoCal... Chicken sandwiches are the best here, along with all of their sides. The staff is extremely friendly and super energetic. They need to open a spot in the Inland Empire please! 3 hour wait line here can be worth it.

Unbelievably good fried chicken. Best I've ever had in my life, the fries were excellent crispy and well seasoned, the banana pudding was fantastic, pickles and bread were very fresh and staff was extremely kind and efficient. Can't recommend highly enough

Hotは辛すぎる!!死にかけました。????今もお腹が痛いっ????????????辛いのが得意の方だと思ってましたが、やばかったです。その下のmediumは全然辛くないです!めちゃめちゃ美味しく食べれます。お肉はジューシーで柔らかく、味付けも最高です。しかしmediumとhotの辛味の差が激しくて危険です。???? 平日の14時過ぎに行ったら5分ほど待ってすぐ入れました。注文後、10分くらいで呼ばれます。take outのみですが、外に数席と、ベンチがところどころにありました。
sandwich felt a little one dimensional and stale, especially compared to eating daybird’s right before. would def get spicy next time, medium was not enough.
