Nestled on the edge of Newport back bay, this hotel offers an alternative to beach resorts. The 254 rooms are equipped with a balcony, shower and bathtub. We also enjoy the semi-covered swimming pool and the outdoor terrace with sun loungers. Even if it is not located on the seafront, this hotel has the merit of being central, that you want to go to Fashion Island to shop or to Balboa to eat a frozen banana. The location is ideal for watching birds from the nearby bay.

Centrally located. Nice layout of room (king size guest suite). But may need some new decor. Welcoming upon check in.

We stayed last night, NO HOT WATER TO BATHE IN, CALLED DOWN TO FRONT DESK TWICE BECAUSE THERE WERE NO BLANKETS OR PILLOWS FOR THE COUCH BED. I TALKED TO THE MANAGER AND SHE GAVE US A $50 CREDIT. NOW IM NOT RUNNING A HOTEL BUT I CERTAINLY DON’T WANT A DISGRUNTLED GUEST. I TOLD HER NOT GOOD ENOUGH, IPAID $270 FOR THE NIGHT IN WHICH I COULDN’T EVEN BATHE OR SHOWER. NEVER STAYING THERE AGAIN.

Nice hotel, but $40 per night parking is way too steep based on what you're paying for the hotel room as well. If someone comes to visit it's another $40 for them. Ridiculous... Also no Wi-Fi

It’s just wild to pay $350 a night and then get nickled and dimed when they hit you with $40 to park a car and $10 for Wifi and $7 for a bottle of water. Kind of a let down for a Marriott…
