Loch Arthur cheese, Galloway jam, Heather Hills honey and Pelham meats, the Larder Café is an absolute must for a delicious breakfast, a good lunch or a well-deserved four o'clock. Everything is prepared with great care and provides great flavors that you can't get enough of, from Scottish Breakfast to scone, quiches, soups and sandwiches. The small room with yellow tints and large windows is quickly filled. It is therefore sometimes necessary to arrive quite early, but it is really worth it!

It used to be one of my go-to brunch spots in Edinburgh when I lived here. Unfortunately, it seems like things have changed a bit. The air feels a bit stuffy, which is probably why they keep the door open, but then you end up feeling chilly. The food and drinks are still delicious, although I do miss when they were served on brioche instead of simple toast. Also, I noticed the toilets have a moldy smell, and the joints could really use a good cleaning

This seems like an establishment in Edinburgh. We wanted to book a table for brunch during our recent trip to Edinburgh but it was fully booked for the next several days so we went for a late lunch at 1:30PM. Despite being starving by the time we got our food, I wasn’t a big fan of the toastie I got off the main menu. The bread was thick and hard to chew and the filling (including haggis) didn’t really have much flavour. A bit pricy for what it was too.

My vegetarian friend and I (vegan) went specifically for a full Scottish breakfast and were not disappointed! They do both a vegan and a vegetarian version and everything was so good! It included a plant based black pudding and haggis so we didn’t feel like we were missing out at all. Nice thick pieces of toast and a lovely potato scone and topped off with perfectly cooked mushrooms and tomatoes.
The Scottish breakfast blend of tea was also fantastic and they had oat milk to go with it.
We were waited on by a couple of different employees and they were all very lovely and friendly.
