HOTEL GUISCHARD DE LA MÉNARDIÈRE
A handsome hotel with a façade featuring arched windows, slate roofs with sloping ceilings, and elegant fireplaces.
Before 1851, this beautiful building, probably the former Hôtel-Dieu Saint-Antoine de la Charité, was one, and its facade with arched warheads dates from the 12th century. A slate attic with granite railings dates from the 15th and 16th centuries, and the elegant 18th-century chimney stacks. A majestic staircase that could be climbed on horseback, which has now disappeared, completed the ensemble. Inside, you will admire beautiful woodwork inspired by Versailles.
