THE OLD PROTESTANT TEMPLE
Go there and contact
Temple recounting the history of Normandy and the Wars of Religion, to remember the Protestant presence in the region.
Built on the initiative of Gabriel II de Montgomery in 1590, it is the only Protestant building in the English Channel prior to the revocation of the Edict of Nantes and witness to a dramatic page in the history of Normandy, the War of Religions. A small detour through this place of memory will allow you to remember the Protestant presence in the Pontorson area. Not to be missed if you are passing through the town on your way to Mont-Saint-Michel.
