THE ECO-VILLAGE OF ENAMINO

The Enamino Eco-Village is a campground located in the town of Omboue, in Gabon's Ogooué-Maritime province. According to visitor reviews, the experience at this eco-village is mixed. The site is described as beautiful, but the lack of maintenance is disappointing. The meals on offer are typically Gabonese, with chicken, fish and alloco rice. However, some visitors regretted not having seen a vegetable garden or tasted any fruit. Activities include a boat safari, which consists of a round trip to take another group to the bush camp, with a few stops to observe crocodiles, monkeys and elephants. Some technical problems were reported, such as an overheated 4x4 and a broken engine on the pirogue. Visitors expressed their expectation of greater professionalism, given the high price of the experience.
