When we initially arrived at these hotels, the room on the third floor, where we first stayed, had a concerning issue. Within five minutes, we discovered a few German roaches crawling around. Additionally, our fridge leaked water excessively, causing damage to our food. I approached the front desk to request a room change and address the situation. The staff member showed me two alternative rooms—one reeking of cigarette smoke and the other with an unpleasant odor due to an unchanged AC filter. The next room we were given turned out to be filthy and infested with roaches. To our dismay, we even found roaches on the bed upon returning one day. I reached out to corporate to express our concerns, and the manager assured us that their district manager would contact us. Unfortunately, we never received any follow-up communication.

Eventually, we were relocated to another room, but unfortunately, roaches seemed to be a persistent problem throughout the hotel. Although the staff members were friendly and accommodating, the issue of roaches overshadowed everything else. It was disheartening to witness roaches gathering and seemingly planning their next move in the hallways.

To provide a clearer picture of our experience, I have attached a photo showing the presence of mold and dead roaches in the kitchen area.

When we initially checked into these hotels, we were met with an unexpected surprise. Our first room on the third floor had a not-so-welcome company of a few German roaches scurrying around within minutes of our arrival. Alongside this unsettling encounter, our fridge decided to leak water profusely, resulting in a soggy mess that ruined our food. Seeking a resolution, I approached the front desk hoping for a room change or some assistance. To my dismay, the alternatives presented were far from ideal. One room smelled like a cigarette factory, while the other emitted an odor suggesting a long-neglected AC filter. Reluctantly, we settled for another room, only to discover it was filthy and infested with roaches.

Our persistence in raising the issue with corporate was met with promises from the manager downstairs that their district manager would contact us. However, much to our disappointment, their call never arrived. We were eventually relocated to yet another room, but the roach problem persisted throughout the hotel. It seemed that no matter where we turned, these unwelcome creatures were an ever-present part of our stay.

Despite encountering friendly and helpful staff members, our experience was tainted by the constant presence of roaches. It was disconcerting to witness them congregating in the hallways, seemingly discussing their next target. The attached photo captures the mold and deceased roaches we discovered in the kitchen area, providing undeniable evidence of the unsettling conditions we endured during our stay.

Absolutely disgusting! First off, right when we got there we saw roaches crawling around in the lobby. Second off, we ordered a room with two beds and they gave us one queen size room. The carpet was so filthy that the air conditioner just blew the dirt and dust around the room, we couldn't hardly breathe. When it was time to go to bed I couldn't even sleep on the bed it had such a big dent in the side that every time I rolled on my side I rolled off the bed onto the floor. I couldn't stay on the bed unless I slept in the middle of it and then my daughter who was with me slept in the chair because the bed couldn't sleep two people. Roaches, dirty carpet, big dented beds, big trucks parked on the sidewalk, I had to walk around the trucks into the parking lot and almost tripped and fell, very unsafe for children. No quarters for laundry. People sitting outside the front door smoking! This is definitely not a family-friendly hotel it's more like a truck stop and a place for plant workers. Very uncomfortable beds very uncomfortable overall. I will never stay here again and I will never recommend this place to anyone. I am currently staying here for 15 days and I regret every minute of. Even though they're the kitchen in here it isn't the kind of place you want to cook in because you can't even eat in the room it stinks so bad! For the money I spent I could have stayed at a cleaner more comfortable hotel! Hell I'd rather sleep in my car than stay here!

The management of this property was excellent and the woman at the front desk was always cheerful and very helpful. We stayed here for a week and it's very good for what it is. The rooms are a bit cramped and the kitchen is very small but met our needs enough to pan-fry some salmon one evening. Upon request, they provide a kitchen package with ceramic plates, salad plates, bowls, a fry pan, small pot, cups and flatware for two. The coffee maker was useless but they serve free coffee and tea in the lobby from 6 to 9 every morning, so no big deal. It was located centrally enough for us to search for a rental home in Baton Rouge.
