THE ARTHUR PIT
One of the jewels of the Normandy-Maine Regional Nature Park, an ideal site for sportsmen and families.
This site is one of the jewels in the crown of the Normandy-Maine Regional Nature Park, both a Natura 2000 site and a Sensitive Natural Area in the Manche and Orne departments. This pit combining greenery, water and rock, distils a very special atmosphere, romantic and mysterious at the same time. It is impossible not to fall under the spell of this deep gorge where the rust-coloured Sonce flows, a lively and ferruginous river. Sportsmen and families come here to enjoy a peaceful and magnificent natural site, as well as naturalists.
