SAINT-MARCOUF-DE-L'ISLE BEACH
A long historical beach located on the east coast of the Cotentin, lined with small houses, a beautiful preserved area in Saint-Marcouf.
This long beach on the east coast of the Cotentin Peninsula is located a few kilometres north of the historic Utah Beach. In June 1944, with the armada so large, and a few misdirections, it was also the setting for the arrival of the liberators. Almost 80 years later, it has, of course, regained its tranquillity! A seaside resort in summer, it is lined with small houses, and many people enjoy walking along the Channel. A magnificent preserved area.
