Tubu Tree, a particularly warm camp, is the latest addition to the Jao reserve. Located on Hunda Island, Tubu Tree is the only lodge in the concession to have year-round access to large drylands, where mopanes and acacias grow. The camp is famous for the visibility of its leopards and hyenas in game-drives. No lions on this island because of the high water level. It has a capacity of 8 tents: mounted on raised platforms, its small tents have their own private toilet set, completed by an outdoor shower.
