GREY MATTERS
Via their tourist company, Grey Matters, Douglas and Sandi Groves offer guests of Stanley's and Baine's Camps a privileged meeting with their elephants Jabu, Morula and Thembi. It's not a balade walk, but a unique experience where it's possible to observe very closely, touch and meet these Cousins cousins. The morning ends with a tasty picnic in the bush with elephants. Zoologist is a teacher who is pleased to present the biology and behaviour of his elephants and answers all questions asked by his guests.
This herd, not like the others, formed by men and elephants, also created in 2000 the Living with Elephants Foundation whose mission is to improve the sometimes conflicting relations between the villagers and the pachyderms of this region of Africa. So far, she has received more than a thousand children from Botswana.
