Saint-Sauveur-le-Vicomte has 223 hectares of woodland. Situated to the west of the commune, the national forest depends on the National Forestry Office. Numerous streams irrigate this world as literary as it is natural, your walks will not fail to remind you of the figure of Barbey d’Aurevilly. The forest was bought by the State in the 1960s. You will be able to discover the forest via a landscaped arboretum or circuits available at the cantonal tourist office. Picnic areas and car parks have been set up.
