Tour Vauban de la Hougue, a monument to both military and architectural history.

Built in the 17th century, the Tour de la Hougue and its surrounding fortifications are linked to the mainland by a dyke almost a kilometre long. This monument to military and architectural history is just one element of the famous coastal defence system designed by Vauban. You can visit the rooms of the tower and its platform, where the view is breathtaking. To get there, a brand-new amphibious boat called Tatihou III, which sails according to the tides, is a great experience that will immediately put you in the mood!
