WOWO
The urban area of Annemasse is considered the departmental birthplace of Asian restaurants but all do not bear the same name. Wowo, ideally located just five minutes from the Etrembières shopping centre, has a vast car park and a large dining room with catering services. The vegetation is omnipresent and artificial though, the central maple recalls the serenity of Japanese gardens. The decor changes according to the Chinese calendar, which celebrates the Snake year since February 2013. If you choose to take away, you can make your choice from the menu: Chinese and Vietnam specialities and if you wish to eat on the spot, you will benefit from the buffet to your fill. The dishes change every week depending on market produce but you will regularly find spring rolls with pork or chicken, shrimp fritters, travers de porc sauce aigre douce, cuttlefish with saté sauce, sauté noodles or spring rolls. Over the weekend, frogs' legs, Peking duck or scallops are added to the specialties. For sweets and softs, tarts, kumquats, coconut pearls and apple fritters will delight you during this exotic trip.
