MY AMI
Pierre and Christine did not go to Miami but My Ami came to them. Travellers and USA fans, the "fifties" version, they imported the concept of "American diner" right at Thonon-les-Bains. On the 10th of September 2010, they launched the opening of their restaurant with a Cadillac, Chevrolet and Corvette procession. Enter and plunge yourself into a "Happy Days" episode, vinyl banquet, juke-box, Harley Davidson, Route 66 clock, Marilyn Monroe metal plate -, the atmosphere is far from the traditional chains of fast-food. Then especially, you can sample real American hamburgers with a quality French meat carved on the spot. Pancakes with maple syrup for breakfast will make you wait for lunch where you will find it difficult to choose amongst the range of specialities. We tried Elvis Burger served with frites-steak-house. Red onion, pickle, cheddar fondue, egg with the dish ground and beef: you will find all the ingredients that you like, with the freshness of the ingredients guaranteed. A small place still for dessert? Go for cheesecakes, a cupcake or a donut. Enjoy your meal!

Yesterday evening we improvised one evening restaurant where we wanted retenter the experience, and again you invited us to sit at the bar. As justification not to be sitting at one of the tables (none were occupied) " if a group of 3 or 5 would come, we need place" , I do not think that a restaurant fills you Thursday evening with Thonon in 45 minutes.
In short, for lovers of good hamburger and regular consumers of restaurant, they have just lost potentials good guests

Really cheerful service, open kitchen which allows you to realise the quality ingredients. A delight! Correct prices.
Good atmosphere. A place not to be missed.
A tous bientôt.
