Thonon is rich in monuments and the tourist office is the perfect illustration, well installed in the castle of Sonnaz. It is in the warmth of its vast 200m2 room, with a chic and cosy atmosphere in chocolate tones and integrating the old decorations, that we find all the useful information. The castle of Ripaille, built in the 15th century by Amédée VIII, enjoys the presence of the lake. The Sainte-Hippolyte church is a typical example of baroque style. The funicular runs on about 50 m difference in altitude between the port and the city centre.

L'office de tourisme est dans un château de toute beauté. Le bâtiment vaut vraiment le coup d'oeil. L'office en soi est de qualité. Personnel très sympathique et compétent.
