ECOMUSEUM OF FISHING AND THE LAKE
Ecomuseum on the shores of Lake Geneva retracing the lake's past and present, including the history of artisanal fishing.
Three traditional bungalows on the shores of Lake Geneva house a small museum about life on the lake, past and present, and in particular the history of the artisanal fishing industry that supplies many restaurants with perch fillets. Two aquariums also present the lake's fish fauna, including perch, féras and other species. It's also an opportunity to discover the typical Rives district, a fishermen's quarter that dates back to the 12th century, and can be recognized by its Tour des Langues.
