This site is indeed one of the migratory stages of many Northern European birds.
Made up of small wooded islands, ponds and wetlands, and stony alluvial terraces, the bed of the Dranse is home to 800 species, or one third of the flora of Haute-Savoie. The role of the Maison des Dranse, which offers a permanent exhibition, is to make visitors aware of the Dranse Delta nature reserve. A "sensitive" natural site of 53 ha. It is indeed one of the migratory stages of many Northern European birds: birds of prey, herons, gavots. Specific and free animations are regularly proposed.
