Quiet beach in Surtainville, one of the largest sandy beaches on the west coast of the Cotentin.
If you are looking for immensity, tranquility, wide open spaces, you will be served. For between the Cap du Rozel, to the north, and the Cap de Carteret, to the south, stretches one of the largest sandy beaches on the west coast of the Cotentin. Shared between several communes, including Surtainville, it is little frequented, even in summer. The coastline is unspoilt and is made up of white sand dunes. To access the sea, there are several small roads including, in Surtainville, the "Brèche de l'église", where you will find the only surveillance post in the area.
