The Vire is, by far, one of the main rivers of the department. Its flow and its course make it very popular with canoeists, fishermen and cyclists. While following the tourist route of the gorges of the Vire between Torigni, Guilberville and Tessy-sur-Vire, one should not miss the small church of Malloué, dating from the 17th century, and which nestles on the top of a hill - here, the relief is particularly steep. This place of worship is particularly devoted to Saint Ortaire, a 6th century hermit.
