RUE DU GRAND MOULIN
Street at the end of which you enter the public garden.
Among the remarkable places of Valognes, this small street is well worth a detour and confirms, if need be, the nickname of "Norman Versailles" of the city. This street, running partly along the Merderet stream (which can overflow in winter), has several remarkable buildings: the 12th-century courtyard of the Grand Moulin, the house of the tanner Brégaint, or a splendid building called "Parcheminerie" which houses some of the town’s services. At the end of this small street, you can enter the public garden.
