It is a postcard place, with the sea changing colour regularly, and the hills descending more or less steeply into the Channel. In the centre, the small village of Omonville-la-Rogue, whose harbour is a very popular place to visit. For yachtsmen, this anchorage port (no pontoons here) owes its existence to the presence of a small cove. To shelter it, in the 19th century, a 200-metre-long dyke was built. The boaters, numerous in summer, find here a dedicated stopover.
