Hotel-restaurant with eight simple and clean rooms in a family-friendly atmosphere in La Hague.

Located at the tip of the peninsula, the hotel welcomes you all year round in a friendly and family atmosphere. You will be accommodated in one of the eight rooms, all simple and clean. Note the prices, the cheapest room is really very affordable. The hotel has a closed garage for both cars and bikes and a parking under video surveillance. Finally, don’t miss one of Mr. Boulay’s dishes. In fact, his culinary art has earned him numerous awards, including that of the Knights of Saint James Brotherhood for his "Saint-Jacques on the Bed of Apples".

Pour commencer, le parfum de la serveuse, tellement prenant, ne met pas en appétit... Le verre de vin blanc est servi à partir d'une carafe d'eau douteuse. Les frites sont surgelées, la tomate immangeable. L'assiette de fromage est plus appétissante à la maison (même pas de fromage au lait cru de la région !) et le fromage sort tout juste du frigo : pas de goût. Le dessert n'est pas fait maison et rance. Le café n'est même pas bon. Seules les huîtres de Saint Vaast sont fraîches et bonnes !... Et pour couronner le tout, il ne fait pas très chaud dans la salle de restaurant vide.

The warm welcome of the " patronne".
We ordered (menu at € 19): - a wallet (the name escapes to me) with camembert, bacon and potatoes, according to butte according to the owner. We found that good. - bream: well cooked, this dish levelled us. The cheese plate was not too well presented. The chocolate was good cooking.
We are ready to walk back.

Une immense déception pour ce restaurant qui nous a servis une repas digne d'une mauvaise cantine scolaire , pour le prix d'un bon restau.
Une salade chèvre chaud composée d'une poignée de salade en sachet défraichie, un oeuf dur palichon coupé en deux, deux toast de baguette garnis chacun d'une rondelle de chèvre buche premier prix... Immangeable!
Les moules par ailleurs également très décevantes, que l'on n'a pas non plus pu finir...
Seul bravo: l'apéro surprise, très réussi, mais que je ne vous dévoilerai pas.
Allez donc y boire un coup (surprise) puis mangez ailleurs!
