VAUVILLE POND

Freshwater marsh protected from the sea by a narrow dune line. The nature reserve of Vauville covers 30 hectares. Managed by the Norman Ornithological Group, it is home to many species of amphibians from Normandy, including the great crested newt, the marbled newt, the calamitous toad, the spotted pelodyte and the tree frog. A signposted path and two passages leading to the sea allow you to walk around it. Stay alert on the fragile dune and be discreet so as not to disturb the fauna. Two observation areas allow you to see the migratory birds without disturbing them.
