Priory with a crypt, a chapel of the century, an exceptional site by its extraordinary panoramic position in La Hague.
Founded by Richard de Vauville in gratitude to God, it culminates at 90 meters of altitude, is also called Saint-Hermel and has a crypt. Restored after 1944, the 12th-century chapel has been listed since 1975. Jean-François Millet immortalized it in one of his paintings. This place is exceptional due to its extraordinary panoramic position. To get there, come to the small village of Vauville, then follow the signs. The priory, classified as a historical monument since 1975, is 750 metres further north.
