CHIESA DI SANTO SPIRITO E ORATARIO SANTA CATERINA
Romanesque church originally dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul and the Holy Spirit in Ceriana.
Originally dedicated to St. Peter and St. Paul, this beautifully proportioned 11th-century Romanesque church was dedicated to the Holy Spirit following its refurbishment in 1513. Two beautifully sculpted portals line the right-hand side of the church, as does the curious dividing wall inside. In the past, this was used to delimit the area reserved for men and women during services. Attached to the church, the beautiful oratory of Sainte-Catherine dates from 1736.
