NOTRE-DAME-DE-LLORETTE CHAPEL
Chapel dedicated to the Virgin, with a slate roof topped by a lantern and a painting on wood representing angels
Located in the Montsor district, this discreet monument (12 metres by 6 metres) was built in 1699 in honour of the Virgin Mary. Built of rubble (building stones), the chapel has a slate roof topped with a lantern. After a first restoration, the place was blessed a second time under the name of Notre-Dame-de-Lorette. The chapel has been owned by the city since 1905 and included in the additional inventory of historic monuments since 1975. The building underwent further restoration work in 1998-1999, which revealed a painting on wood representing angels.
