Also known as the Ecolodge de Tunis, this hotel has a dozen rooms with mattresses on the floor. Palm wood furniture, no toilets or bathrooms in the rooms (except in the family rooms), but several outside. Cleanliness leaves something to be desired and the food is not always up to scratch, but the large garden and friendly staff make up for these drawbacks. Avoid going during the Egyptian school vacations. You'll find yourself with dozens of noisy teenagers.
