Nice hotel for cruise stay over. Pools and hottub were clean. Hotel was a bit dated. New tvs in the rooms. Esy shuttle to the cruise. Overall great stay for the price and location.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the cruise port, the reviews and we have used this franchise in another state. To clarify our issue was somewhat compensated. However, in my opinion, Kevin the supervisor needs to be properly trained in his position. He 100% failed and had nothing to do with the resolution of our issue. To be told multiple times that there is nothing he could do about our “situation” left me insulted, disappointed and speechless. We had a clogged sink and water overflowing in the bathroom at almost midnight. The smell and the noise to try to fix it with 2 kids in the room is unacceptable. I had to tell him how unsanitary and impossible it would be for the 4 of us to get ready for our cruise the next morning he still apologized and did NOTHING. Long story short my husband demanded to be moved to another room which we finally did after being told the hotel was booked. The next morning Olivia Montanez the Assistant General Manager said she was unable to meet with us. She was given our number and email and we did not hear from her. We came back from our cruise 7 days later and I had to reach out to her. She kindly and partially compensated and apologized. The rooms are a little outdated but comfortable. Pool and hot tub are available. Clean hotel and nice check in process. We will not be stayed here again nor recommend family and friends to stay. If we had not reached out I believe nothing would have been done.

Nice place, a little older, a little dated but staff were very friendly and the bed was comfortable. Good value for the price. Located two blocks off the Maritime museum and a short trolley ride to the USS Iowa. Overall a good stay

I have stayed in Holiday Inn/ Expresses that were 100% better, nicer, cleaner, updated, and with newer electronics. Holiday Inn also includes breakfast.
Broken hot water faucet, the room and items in it are very worn, everything in this room is damaged like it came from a rummage sale.

Great hotel, great service, great parking ( for the area ), the restaurant didn't have an overcomplicated menu and the steak was good. Decent bar.

I can’t say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff are! The front desk staff and bellmen are all so great and made the return from the cruise easy and memorable.

I called and made a reservation with the crowne plaza late in the evening. I was traveling with my fiance and 3 kids. We tried to book a suite because last time I stayed here it was actually nice. While I was on the phone I informed the gentleman that it was myself, my fiance and our 3 kids. He asked for my kids ages and everything (this will be an important detail later). Sadly he informed me that the only room they had was a double queen room for $176. I settled for it against my better judgement. When we got to the hotel they all of a sudden did not have queen bed rooms and only had a room with 1 king. They offered us a roll away bed for the kids. At this point it was 9pm and my kids were tired so once again I settled for it against my better judgment. The lady charged me the same price as the double queen room, for a room with 1 bed, a rickety roll away, and rips and stains on the furniture. That's $176+tax+$100 deposit. So $300.When I realized the condition of the room, my fiance went downstairs to talk to the manager. They manager was not only rude, but lied to his face. She proceeded to tell him that he did not tell the man who booked us that the room was for 2 adults and 3 children, but for 1 adult instead. Funny considering the man asked for the ages of my children. Clearly everything she was saying was a lie and she knew it. Because as I said before, the lady who checked us in offered the roll away for our kids. If it was only a reservation for 1 like she claimed, we wouldn't have booked a double bed, and the lady who check us in certainly wouldn't have offered a single indevidual a roll away bed. The manager refused to change our room or compensate us for anything. She may be the rudest manager I have ever met in my life and I will never spend my money here again. I honestly don't know how they have such good ratings with how rude they are. Their customer service was trash and they have no manners what's so ever.

Miss Marilyn from the front desk was super nice and really made my stay unforgettable. She went above and beyond her role and assisted me. This hotel is close to many restaurants and where the fresh seafoods are located. The room is super clean, thanks to the housekeepers. I was glad that they have a laundry for guests and a pool. I will definitely come back.

Located near port Los Angeles and down town San Pedro, this is a great place to stay before you cruise. Shuttle service to your port can be arranged at the hotel and there are plenty of dining options and things to do close by.
The hotel itself is a little bit run down. We had a two bedroom suite on the top floor. It came with two double beds and one pull out couch. It also included 1 full bathroom and a half bathroom witch was nice. The tub was worn and the plugs near the bed did not work. There was a small fridge and microwave and TVs in both rooms. The beds were clean but not too comfortable. They bowed in the middle and were just... small.
The vouchers for a shuttle to the cruise were of no use to us because it was to the wrong location. So they were nice enough to include another 3 breakfasts for our family. Breakfast is not included in the regular room rates. Breakfast was decent. Had a nice breakfast bar with waffles, eggs, bacon, sausages, oatmeal, cereal, juice, milk, fruit, cheese, deli meats, breads, danishes and more.
The reason I rated this hotel so low is because the night we came we noticed our full bathroom start to fill with cigarette smoke. We Called down to the front desk and let them know. We did not know if it was coming from below, or from the side but you could literally see the smoke in the bathroom. We shut the door so that it would stay in the bathroom. But throughout the night and into the morning it continued to the point it started to fill one of the bedrooms making it unusable. They said they would take care of it. But nothing ever happened and we finally left early because we could not breath. When we checked out they did take $50 off of our $220 bill for the "cruise package." I did appreciate the deduction but I felt like our concerns were never truly addressed and $50 was not an adequate response.
Service was polite... Managers were non existent.
