Market in Corfu Chora, a perfect address to discover the authenticity of the city.

At the foot of the new fort, the central market is the ideal place to discover an authentic Corfu as lived by the inhabitants. Here you can buy local products: fishmongers, farmers' cooperatives, spice and herb sellers, all products are from the island and presented with pride. Having a coffee at the Popular de Christoforos is also very pleasant, the locals like to sit and comment on the news. In 1970, Jackie Kennedy passed through the market, Christoforos proudly displays the photo of the time!
