The 7 rooms are nicely decorated, each one inspired by the Porto Cruz advertising campaigns: "Country where black is color". The Woman in Black, icon of the brand, contrasts with colorful atmospheres in a typical Portuguese style. The rooms offer a breathtaking view of the Douro. The gourmet restaurant, Casario, offers unforgettable journeys around Portuguese cuisine and wines of the region. Fantastic breakfast.

The Gran Cruz House hotel is located in the heart of Ribeira, the most emblematic district of Oporto. Its 7 rooms are all comfortable, tastefully decorated and offer a beautiful view of the Douro River. In the hotel's restaurant, chefs Miguel Castro Silva and José Guedes invite you to discover the wonders of Portuguese gastronomy. Their dishes, prepared with local and seasonal products, will certainly not leave you indifferent. You can enjoy them on the terrace while enjoying a beautiful view of the city. The hotel's restaurant also has a fantastic wine cellar with more than 60 references of Port and Douro wines. Oenophiles will surely be satisfied.

Due to COVID-19, everyone was uncertain and not prepared for any action. However, the hotel provided all the required services even in this difficult situation. We are the only resident during our stay (all other bookings were cancelled) but hotel still provided a full service. This made us very welcomed and made our journey very pleasant.
I do not know how to word this better but I wouldn’t be surprised that this hotel rated as 5 STARs in google. Whichever the rate is, I will give the highest rate.
I appreciate for all again and will come back again when this nasty COVID19 disappears!
