Vila Galé Porto is a 4-star hotel of international class, close to the historical center. It is a good base camp for those who want to explore the northern region, thanks to the nearby parking. The 292 rooms are large, well-equipped and nicely decorated in the standards of the star hotel. The breakfast is gourmet. Room service 24 hours a day. Restaurant on the1st floor, indoor pool on the 19th floor with panoramic view of the city. All the services you would expect from an establishment of this class, plus kindness.

The hotel has way too many hidden costs. I am so pissed about stupid caps for the pool, you cant go into the pool without one, but there was no information about them on the website, when booking. Then they sell you cheep Chinese one that cost pennies, for 4 euro a piece.
When we asked to bring kettle to the room so we can make milk for our baby, they forgot about it and after 4 reminders they brought it 5 hours later, when we went to the restaurant to get some hot water, at 12 in the night and woke our baby.
The breakfast was ridiculous, no choice, tasteless food, dirty tables in the restaurant, disgusting coffee. Yet, you cant book a room without the breakfast.
You have to wait 15 min to get into the elevator.
Everything is wrong with this place, I could probably write an essay, how horrible our stay was. Stay away from this place.
