Once at the table of this Paduan restaurant, the waiter suggests a selection of regional specialties, including grilled meats seasoned with local herbs, baccalà alla Vicentina, but also bigoli and other delicious homemade pasta dishes. La Vecchia Padova, with its old-fashioned décor of wooden tables, two-tone brown and white tablecloths and copper pots on the ceiling, has also become known for its generous, crisp pizzas baked in its wood-fired oven.
