BAR LATTERIA
It's really a unique bar, as you can hardly find in Italy. Tiny and typical with a counter to the old and shelves where bottles of all beverages accumulate. Three chairs are installed outside and you can ask there, on this little corner of street facing the bridge to watch the onlookers, and why not redo the world with the familiar customers of the establishment! But the real plus of this bar, which does not really have a name, is its owner: Salvatore Coppola, or Salvo for intimes. He's really a character. Originally from Naples and from the top of his 89 years (it seems 20 less) he has seen almost everything and lived. Of course, he knows Padova as his pocket and will make you laugh with his anecdotes. He only speaks Italian but you will always make you understand with him, even if you don't speak well the language of Dante, because he is really very communicative. This is, in some way, the local star because he has already been allowed numerous articles in the Italian press. Not to meet him would be like missing a key monument of Padua. So let's go. You will live the Italian aperitif, far from tourists with Italians from the Cru, in real light!
