MUSEI CIVICI EREMITANI
Civic museum with collections of the city and paintings of the Venetian and Flemish schools
The town's collections are housed in the former convent of the Saint-Augustin hermits. The first floor is devoted to archaeology, while the second floor is devoted to the Middle Ages. Among the 13th-century works on display are Giotto's Cross and the Guariento Tables. In addition, the Emo Capodilista collection features paintings by the Venetian and Flemish schools from the 16th to 18th centuries. Particularly well-designed is the refurbished multimedia room dedicated to Giotto's work in the Cappella degli Scrovegni.
