One of the most famous restaurants in the lagoon, located in the birthplace of a famous sailor. In the last century, many personalities of literature and fine arts have frequented it. On the guestbook, you can see the signatures of Hugo Pratt or Fellini, to name a few. Nice collection of contemporary paintings. Small terrace outside. The cuisine is well prepared. The risotto romano with scampi is an absolute delight, as are the dishes featuring eel, sea bass or fried fish.

The young staff was very rude. We were waiting outside for a seat because another older staff told us that can come back earlier. After ten minutes we saw there's quite many groups of customers walked in and were served so we tried to get closer, then the young staff came and said we had our meal already, which was obviously not true.

Very very rude staff. We walked in, and they told us only reservations, but if we wanted, we could return 30 minutes later. We returned with ice cream, and the server came and said you already have your lunch. Why are you still waiting for the table? I am very disappointed because it doesn't mean we are not going to order food if we are still hungry. Worst service ever!
