Motel located about 10 minutes from downtown by car, offering comfortable rooms
Located a ten-minute drive from downtown, the main advantage of the Comfort Inn motel in Palo Alto is its prices, which can be surprisingly low for the city, provided you book well in advance. The rooms are large and comfortable, with useful amenities (microwave, kettle) but nothing charming. This is a first-rate hotel, like a highway motel. We've come here to get some sleep before hitting the road again or making a quick visit to Palo Alto and Stanford.

This hotel was conveniently located close to Stanford Medical Center. There were a few restaurants within walking distance and more that were a close drive. A hot breakfast was provided. The typical scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, potatoes, yogurt, pastries, coffee, and juices. The room was very clean and modern. It appears that they are upgrading the hotel. The bed was super comfortable. The only thing I did not care for was the curtain separating the bedroom from the bathroom. I prefer a door. The staff was pleasant. Check-in and check-out were a piece of cake.

This place is a dump - needs some love. Dirty, outdated, smells of dog odor in room and did I mention this place costs big bucks ? What is good - comfy beds, cold air conditioning and location - location - location.

Staff needs to communicate with each other during shift change. Some staff members do not like each other and request may not get relayed to the next shift. Example: if u requested a late check with the shift before snd doesn't relay the request the next shift. Then that guest is getting accused for not requesting causing stress for the guest and that's not fair or right. Grow up get over your issues and be profesional

Customer service was excellent rooms were nice very clean. Continental breakfast in the morning was nice and hot no problems I will be back.
