KOŠLJUN MONASTERY
Monastery in Košljun with a library that can be visited only by appointment and a store selling monastic products.
The monastery is accessible by swim (!), kayak or the motorboats used by fishermen for tourists during the summer season. You can visit the church, the cloister, the refectory, the garden and the small, rather eclectic museum (archaeological and ethnological objects, costumes, old fishing nets, a fine collection of shells, banknotes from all over the world). The library is open by appointment only. For specialists, there are manuscripts to see, including one of Ptolemy's three Atlases (Venice 1511).
