This popular Buddhist temple, adorned with a pretty garden and lucky firecrackers, is the largest on Phuket Island.

Unavoidable, Wat Chaiyathararam is the largest, most beautiful and most important of the 29 Buddhist temples on the island of Phuket. Several buildings are spread around a beautiful garden on the site, which is frequented by locals and tourists alike. Do not hesitate to go up to the floors of the different temples. A small chimney houses hundreds of lucky firecrackers. A visit in the morning is recommended to avoid crowds. Provide suitable clothing (covered shoulders and legs)
