OFFICE DE TOURISME
Marostica is an Italian town in the province of Vicenza, in the Veneto region. It is famous for its castle, Castello Inferiore, which dates back to the 14th century. The castle is open to visitors and offers guided tours and educational workshops upon reservation. It also houses the Pro Marostica Association and the Tourist Office. The castle's rooms are used for exhibitions and cultural activities, and some of them have a historical function, such as the Council Chamber and the Hall of Arms. The castle also boasts an impressive keep, measuring 10 meters on each side and 34 meters in height. It is possible to climb to the top of the keep and enjoy a panoramic view of the town. Marostica is also famous for its lively Chess Game, held every two years in the town's main square. During this event, locals dress up as giant chess pieces and play a live game of chess.
