WINE MUSEUM - CANTINA ZENI
Museum relating the making of wine from the transformation of the grape to the bottling, tasting at the end of the visit.
The special idea for the museum was born in 1991, to enable travelers and enthusiasts alike to discover the art and history of winemaking! The Zeni family's expertise is on display during the tour, which is divided into six sequences: winemaking, grape processing, production, cooper's tools, origins and bottling. Along the way, all the necessary explanations are given to enable you to follow the tour correctly. The tour ends with a tasting in the oenotheque, where it is possible to purchase wines and products from the estate: olive oil, brandy, grappa... but please note that there is no obligation to do so, as this is not the company's philosophy. It's also possible to take a guided tour which, in addition to the museum, includes a visit to the estate and, above all, its cellar: La Barricaia. It's well worth the detour, as the cellar was recently built 6 m underground, where you can see the barrels, casks and barrels. A tasting session is offered in the main room, a special setting for a special sensory experience. In addition to the high quality of this estate's wines, this cellar is also worthy of admiration: a beautiful series of vaults with frescoes and cobblestones in keeping with traditional architecture. The Zeni family estate is a reference point for appreciating the history and flavors of this terroir. Not to be missed! Enjoy your visit and your tasting!
