Ideal park for an immersion in the Everglades, appreciated for its nature activities and its trails including those dedicated to children

Located 20 km from Florida City, Royal Palm State Park is a good option if you want to soak up the Everglades without driving too far. It's a paradise for nature activities: bird watching, bike riding (no rentals in this part of the park)... You can also explore the Pine Rocklands, a vast pine forest with impressive heights, or go on one of the trails. The Anhninga Trail and the Gumbo Limbo Trail are suitable for children (30 min), while the Long Pine Key Trails (35 km) are for the more experienced hiker.

Une des plus belles étapes dans le parc des Everglades; on y voit facilement des alligators, des oiseaux dont l'aningha et le site est très beau avec ses passerelles. De splendides lumières au coucher du soleil.
