Harmonious and symmetrical, this is one of Palladio's most beautiful creations. The central part was completed around 1563 and enlarged in the 18th century. It seems that Palladio sought here the logic of ancient thermal architecture, in a synthesized language, since the body of the building is treated as part of a global whole, whose spaces are organized around a central courtyard. A multimedia exhibition allows visitors to understand the technicality of the Palladian design with the route, the functions and the different spaces of the villa.
