Haras du Pin-au-Haras is renowned for the quality of its pastures, with more than three centuries of horse breeding behind it.
Built between the 18th and 19th centuries on the orders of Louis XIV, this "Versailles of the horse", intended to house the livestock of the Haras royal, is an exceptional site for its buildings and 1100 hectares of land. A national stud farm since 1815, it is the figurehead of French stud farms and the organizer of world-renowned competitions. Signposted routes allow you to explore the estate by bike, golfette or carriage, and visit the château, stables, saddlery, horse-drawn carriage collection... And don't forget the enchantment of the equestrian shows!

Owner's Message
Equestrian shows at the Aure riding school are held every weekend from April to mid-September at 3pm. The world of circus invites itself to the Haras du Pin this year. The artists present acrobatic acts, free dressage and other artistic acrobatics.
Horse-drawn carriage rides, bike tours or electric golf cart rides allow you to explore the vast Domaine du Pin.
For a complete discovery of the stud farm, follow the visits of the stud farm, the castle and the discovery trail of the stable n°1 (summer 2020 exhibition: "Joël Person, under the belly of a wrapped horse").
Children can discover the joys of horse riding: pony rides are possible every day of the show.
