Close to the ferry and 10 minutes walk from the center, the hotel Corazón Mexicano is one of the cheapest on the island, and yet the quality/price ratio leaves something to be desired. The hotel seems to be located in the middle of a garbage dump as the area is so dirty and dilapidated. You are installed in a small and simple apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom and a (very) large double bed. Rather pleasant, if it is not that the windows give only on the corridor. The very festive youth hostel which is just next door will keep you awake...
