The Yak Lake House may not be the prettiest hostel in Bacalar, but it's undeniably the best. That's because it's the only one located directly on the shores of the lagoon. Facing the Pirates' Canal, the hostel has a private quay with its own jetty for relaxing, swimming and partying. Wake up at dawn to admire a magnificent sunrise from the pontoon. Enjoy the courtyard bar-restaurant, sun loungers, evening events and lagoon excursions departing from the inn.
